What’s the Community Dream Catcher?
Step into the lobby at the Milton Library and gaze up at the giant Dream Catchers suspended overhead. The aerial sculpture is a part of Milton Reflecting and the National Milton Project celebrating five communities across the U.S.
Local artist Sue Hoy collected t-shirts, maps, and other materials donated by local Miltonians and wove them together to represent the beauty of the diverse communities in the town and the shared dreams that bind us together.
Over the next year, the exhibit will grow and evolve as visitors add their personal aspirations and dreams for the town by filling out “Milton Dreams” cards, which will be displayed and presented for further reflection, discussion and inspiration.
Look for the Milton Dreams cards at Milton Reflecting events throughout the year and be sure to contribute to this beautiful representation of our community.
